That depends: If it's for a laptop that I carry around a lot and is also used to work outside -> matte. But if It's for a desktop or only for the use at home, where no sunlight is reflected -> clear.
But I don't like the matte ones, they make the display look like it has a lower resolution and it doesn't look that sharp anymore.
