If that's what it's for then what would be the "free time" they are offering?

There are some guys giving out chocolates in Union Square, San Francisco. There is a message at the back referencing the Free Time website. If I understand the slogan correctly, the Free Time means that you don't have to open an app in order to view your upcoming schedule. Every tile is a "window" that you may glance at it to see what is happening there. Just like their design language
