Too many apps using push notifications?

I just wanted to set up twitter to give me notifications, but I got this message:




How many apps are you allowed to use with push notifications? I don't think I have too many, Email, WhatsApp, Facebook & WPCentral.

If that's all you have, then that's not too much at all. I don't know the limit, but I believe it was something like 6-8.

what about Marketplace and Battery Info? Are the updates cosidered push notifications?

It's a bug with the app. Uninstall and reinstall it and it should work.
