Personally, I believe Microsoft is doing both good and bad. Although it is a good idea to invest more into good quality budget and mid-range phones to reel in new users, the more invested Windows Phone owners such as myself want the best of the best. I am a big fan of the 1520, and I won't pay money for a budget or mid-range Windows phone that'll give me only the basics. I do hope Microsoft has a plan to not only gain more buyers with these mid-range phones but to hold on to the devoted by releasing an upgraded 1520 and an upgraded 1020. To be honest, if worst comes to worst I'd rather buy a top notch Android phone rather than a "decent" Microsoft phone. The best screens, better cameras, the newest processors, features like using two apps on the same page(just something I wish for), I want Microsoft to bring their best. Just my opinion, but I doubt I'm the only one wishing for Microsoft to release the most modern and advanced phones available.
