Hello I am a veterinary student who has less than a year left of education. My current laptop crashed on me unfortunately. I am looking into buying a new computer that will last me a long time. The computers I am currently looking at are a Dell XPS 15, Dell XPS 13 and the new surface pro. The specs for these computers are the following.

i7 7560U 16gb ram 1Tb SSD, QHD display
Surface pro (Including pen and type cover) 2099.99CAD
i7 7660U 8gb ram 256gb SSD
Ideally I'd like it to be powerful, have a good battery life, and a good screen. All of these tick off those categories. If you have any experience with these devices, input would be much appreciated!
