Does anybody know what size the torx screws are on the base of the 920?

Thought I read somewhere that it was T5 or T6 so I went and ordered some but theyre not the right size, too big.

If anybody knows the exact size head that would be sweet.

Thanks

The torx tool bit size is probably T-5.

M2.5 is the screw's metric thread diameter and 9.7 is the length, all in mm.

Just watched the DIY video and the poster says they're T5 screws, but according to the torx set that I bought, they're not. The set ranges from T5-T10 and T5 is way too big.

Unless the screwdriver set I bought was wrong then maybe phones vary. I'm from the UK and it sounds like the poster is too so I'm stumped!

I just checked too. Way smaller than T-5. I have a micro screwdriver set with tiny torx buts and even the smallest doesn't fit.

Edit: It is T5. .055", 1.40mm. The smallest in my micro screwdriver kit was T6 and I found another micro kit i purchased with even smaller torx bits. The biggest being t5, and it fits.

On my Nokia N8 it was a T4 I found one on Amazon, but it took like 2 weeks for the company to mail it.

I got my 920 open, but I can't separate the motherboard from the screen. The screw seems way too tiny. I have a T2 and an even smaller screw driver (T1 or hex 1.5?), and they're both too big. Does anybody know what size the screw is?

I guarantee its a T2 unless someone else messed with your phone. I've replaced the digitizer on 5 920s and I've only used T5s and T2s for assembly/diassembly.

It was a T1.

Edit: For some reason I needed a T1 to get the screws out, but a T2 worked just fine putting them back in. You are correct, they are T2 screws.
