Touch screen or touch bar?

A better question would probably be to ask whether fixed Fn keys or a Touch Bar is better.

This question is a bit like asking if I would drive a car or a poor imitation of a car.

Why would you buy 1/20th of a touchscreen when you could get a full touchscreen?

Exactly. Touch Bar is basically are more advanced FN keys that offer different functionality for different apps. Touch screen is a completely different thing.

different but not unrelated. it's Microsoft's and Apple's respective answer to how to better interact with your machine. and in that regard, i prefer Microsoft's answer.

Honestly, if (and only if) more applications supported a touchbar then I'd choose it over a touchscreen. By that I mean shortcuts which are actually useful and not a typing assist which actually slows you down rather than speeding you up.

I think touchbar consume more power

Touchbar is pointless. If you're working on a project you dont want to look down all the time
