Touch vibrate not working

I am back on my old favourite Lumia 925. I happen to notice that the touch vibrate feature (when pressing the back/windows/search keys) does not work. Is there a way to figure our if its hardware or software related?

Check the settings under touch. Vibration could be turned off. I purposely turned mine off some time ago. Requires a restart to change.
