Touchscrren problem

Lumia 720 touchscreen problem. - YouTube


is this a hardware issue.... ?

when i give a hard press somewhere below the three buttons screen start working again....
i showed it to nokia care.. they saying problem with sd card.. micro sim etc...
i tried with and without all these and problem prevails..
done resets also...
has anyone got same kind of issue
how did u correct it...?

As I can see from the video, it clearly is a hardware issue. Get in touch with Nokia Care and get it replaced.

I had this problem earlier, resolved after nokia replaced new LCD/touchscreen.

gave the phone to nokia care. they want to reinstall software...and want me to check whether problem happens after that.... will get the phone back from nokia centre tommorow. not much hope. but praying for good..

Not sure if re installing will really help since its clear from the video that its a hardware problem. Hope you get it replaced soon

right when i got the reinstalled phone into my hands it got stuck...:angry:
i showed it to the nokia care guy...
he took it inside and replaced the touchscreen, atleast thats what he said..
i believe with someone elses l720 screen
found a scratch later
anyways no problems yet...
lucky is that guy who will get a scratch free screen..:unhappysweat:

In my opinion you should have gone for a phone replacement instead of accepting a scratched touch screen. You may hit a wall if you ever have to get another replacement under warranty. But as long as you are happy, should be ok. Sad but true how the crooks at service centers try to make money out of customers even though they have every reason to get their phones fixed/replaced.

Right after i got out of the place i found the scratch.. as it was small and near the search button, thought of ignoring it.
only thing i dont understand is why nokia care guys have to act like this....
only thing i hope for now is that there wont be issues like before anymore..:straight:

I also have the same issue with my Lumia 920, but then pressing below the windows button does not resolve it
