Hey guys,

If you read my previous thread you would know that my lumia 920 had gone for repairs and I waited for 40 days for my phone to arrive. Actually the phone had gone to wrong address because of some misprinting or something went wrong I don't know the exact reason behind this. But it did go to wrong nokia care in other city. I actually got answers when I mailed to elop and then suddenly everybody and told me the truth also apologized for everything. I got the motherboard changed but the back case was same. I don't know but I wasn't really happy with the condition of the back case. I contacted the person in charge of things for nokia in my city and he told me you take your phone to the care center and they will look into it. The guy whom I met said I will do some polishing on the back panel. I said Nokia should at least compensate on the back panel as I have waited for my phone for so many days. He said even if he tries it will take 30 days for it to arrive. Next day I noticed a scratch not a small one but a noticeable one. Also when I pressed on the back a there is a sound like the panel is loose. Also when the phone gets warm or heated the glance screen flickers. I addressed the issue to the person I had contacted earlier. He said you keep this phone use it until another one arrives also he offered me 925. He said he will try for 925 if you I want to switch he asked. Now this is the problem what do I do? I am confused. I was happy with my old 920 only for the volume keys not functioning caused for a new and this new one has issues. I am afraid another one might also have issues you never know. I will let you know my pros and cons of both 920 & 925.

920
Pros
32gig
red color
lcd display

cons
heating issues
single vibration while ringing

925
pros
don't know
cons
16gig
led display(hate it as they are too bright in dark)

So, guys please help me get a decision for this situation.
Thank you

I made a jump from 920 to 925:

Here are the subjective and objective pros:

Subjectives:
sexy
doesn't feel like a tank
nicer in the pocket
better to hold with one hand and text
nicer design
aluminium feels better than polycarb

Objective:
it is lighter
it is slimmer
it has better camera for low light photography
it doesn't have heating issues like 920

Brand new 925 here.

New user observations:
Still handling it with care because it seems delicate and I'm afraid I'll damage the device by not being cautious.
While taking video or any intense use there is a spot above USB\charge port that feels warm.
This same spot will feel warm when first plugged in for charging.
The screen is very bright in the dark.
Sound volume out thru earbuds is lower than my other phone (521).
Battery time is less being new ... may change as phone user settles down.
Camera isn't stellar because I don't know how to get the most from it yet.

Video in HD is spectacular with stabilization.
Voice quality on my carrier is very good.
Screen size is just right.
Taps on the keyboard are much better than my previous experience.
Phone is faster than what I'm used to.
I'm not really app or music intensive so the 16GB will work for me ... I shot three 10 minute videos and took about 60 pictures and still had 7 gig on the phone with my most often used apps installed.

The 925 is very thin and is extremely light weight ... I kind of prefer a bit weight myself so a case will be needed to change the feel.

Hope my words help a bit even tho I've never had the 920.

Thank you guys for your help but my only two concerns on 925 are the storage and led display. This decision is hard for me to leave my 920 but then again I think if there are less problems on 925 then it will be good for me.

The 925 is kinda an upgrade if you can get the 32GB version and you do not use the wireless charging, else I would stick w/ the 920 (I actually did, I owned both) unless you don't have a choice

I don't think except vodafone germany anybody has 32gb variant.

I never had storage issues because I have enough SkyDrive for all my media. I stream music online, have enough free data. May be that is why it never bothered me. Why is LCD an issue? AMOLED works really well for battery on darker colours, so if you like black background and darker tiles, you will have better battery experience than the 920.

I have made a decision that I will stick with my 920 as my heart bleeds red. I don't know but I do not want to leave this phone. Sorry guys but will get the 920.
