How do you make the music player display the track number if the album?

Unfortunatly thats not something Windows Phone bothers to display. And theres no way to add it that i know of outside of editing the meta-data in your music to included it in the song title.

The music player does keep the tracks in the proper order, if the track number is in the meta-data. I guess MS decided not to display it in the player, and just assumed you'd know that the fifth track in the playlist is track 5.

What's the use of the track listings if the music is already in order? Honest question, you might need it but I don't see how it's insane to omit it when I'd imagine many people are like I and have zero use for it on a device where I don't organise my music (I do it all from the PC, through Zune).
