Transfer contacts from older phones??

I was considering buying the Arrive and was wondering if the sprint store can transfer your contacts from the palm pre to the Arrive in the store, or if there was a better method anyone has used. Thanks in advance for the help.

I do not know the answer to your question, but I would like to make the suggestion of taking this as an opportunity to switch over to using Google Contacts, or Windows Live or something. I did it a couple phones ago and it is so nice to never have to type all that info into a new phone. Once you have typed them all into Google or Live or whichever, all you do is log into your account in your phone's settings area, and it all syncs up. My latest phone has all of my work contacts (Exchange) all of my personal contacts (Google) and the option of adding Facebook contacts, and I didn't have to type in a thing on the phone itself.

I recommend using windows live over Google as Google contacts messes up any contact pictures u might have or may get.

YES - thankfully, it only takes quite literally 30 seconds. It didn't cost anything (at least my Sprint store didn't charge). All they do is plug both devises into a box that looks like a credit card terminal, punch a few buttons & BANG - done. I think you need to know your palm profile password so be sure you have that (not positive - I forgot).

Once you have your contacts on the phone I would sugest pushing them to the cloud IE Windows Live ..
