Tried out the new Nook Tablet today. Not impressed

My friend just got it yesterday and I was helping her set up Overdrive ebook/audio book rentals. In the process I tried out some other features as well, namely the web browsing. Scrolling on the Nook is bad, extremely bad. Scrolling was noticeable sluggish plus pages were slow to load. The lag was so bad that web browsing became frustrating. There were also several times when the Nook didn't register my touch when scrolling through apps. Android 2.3. Dual-core. 1GB RAM.


And it still feels like beta.

I got my wife a Kindle Fire for Christmas. I hope it's not as bad as the nook.
