Trophy won't charge anymore

Sad day. My venerable Trophy won't charge anymore. I have another Trophy that WILL charge batteries though and I have been using that as a charger. Can I take the SIM card out of the malfunctioning one and put it in the functioning one and be back in business? Thanks all.

In theory that should work unless the phone is locked to a certain carrier then it might be an issue.

Just go into your account at verizonwireless.com and activate the working trophy on your existing phone number. The SIM is only used if you travel out of country and need to use a GSM network.

Under "My Verizon" -> "My Device", click "Activate or Switch Device"
You just have to enter the ESN number that is under the battery.

I would have said try a new battery or new cable, but if it works in one and not the other (assuming your using the same cable) probably won't help.

I believe every carrier the Trophy is on that is not Verizon you can just swap sims, but for Verizon you can do it online or *228 it. *226 if you want to talk to a rep and have them do it. (I'm fairly sure those numbers are correct)

Yes! Always when you upgrade to a new phone on Verizon.
