Troubles After Cyan Upgrade

I am facing some confusing problems:

Phone Model - Lumia 820 (India)

So I was running my phone on DP 8.1 and since Cyan was available for the model in India, I decided to upgrade.
Now, I had to downgrade with Nokia Software Recovery Tool first so I downloaded a 1.5 GB file and restored the phone.

1. Instead of going back to Windows 8 Black, my phone was upgraded to the Cyan Update.
I thought probably Nokia had put this little feature in the Software Recovery Tool. Good for me.
OS Version: 8.10.12393.890
Anyone else has faced this?
Should I reset my phone again and check for updates OTA?

2. Since Windows 8.1, Update 1 was released only for devices running on DP (or was it?), I really miss the live folders. Any way I can get them back?

3. Living images on Nokia Camera Beta are not working (even after the reset to default settings trick). Is it because I am not on DP anymore?

I just checked on Nokia's website, the Firmware Revision Number on my phone is the same as the one listed under 'Latest Version'. So I guess the OS is up-to-date.

If you want the update, install the Preview for Developers app again, enable it again, then do the OTA updates to get it again and bring the OS back up to 8.10.14157.200. Works fine with Cyan on my 920. No need to reset your phone.

Sometimes it's good to use the Nokia Software Updater too but you have to download that 1.6 GB OS. It will fresh install your device just like new but with the latest update of course.
Since the WP 8.1 Update 1 is not officially released yet, you have to install that Preview for Developers.

1. When I downgraded, Black was the one available. I checked it a few weeks ago again, and yes, Cyan is the one available instead of Black. It would still reinstall the OS, so you'll lose all data but at least you don't have to manually update anymore. No need to reset, it's fine.

2.You have to download Preview for Developers again and enable it. After that you'll be able to check for updates and get the GDR1 update.

3. I'm not sure if the 820 supports Living Images. As far as I know, only high end Lumia phones can have this. Correct me if I'm wrong. You might also have to update your Nokia Camera app or you can try Nokia Camera Beta app.

Thanks for the solution guys.

Problem 1 & 2 are solved. Moved to DP again and got the GDR1 update.

3. Still remains. I will move to a different thread for this one. But a lot of people have reported that their 820 does support living images. I had them enabled before Nokia Camera Beta got the the dreaded update (on Windows Black). I have updated and tried the reset to default settings trick on both Nokia Camera and Nokia Camera Beta.

Thanks again!
