Trying to foward calls

I've got a Lumia 830 with Windows 8.1 and I want to forward calls to my new Lumia 950. When I checked the call-forwarding setting on the 830, it said it couldn't access my call forwarding info. Anyone have an idea of what's going on?

This is a mobile operator thing. You need to make sure you have it turned on with your mobile operator.

i am having the same issue with my 950xl. AT&T says they don't know why. It should work. Did you get a solution? thanks
