Turn off then on - lose 20% battery!

Anyone else's do this?

I often have to turn off my XL in a morning just so the news/sports/cortana live tiles start to work again [why are live tiles so bad in W10??]

Noticed that when it turns back on, its lost approx 20% battery. Always goes from 95% to 75%! Still gets me through the day, but wondering if it is a readout glitch, or if it is actually losing that much power from turning itself off and back on again...........

It shouldn't lose that much battery.. Perhaps ur battery is bad n u should get it replaced.. But it could be a glitch u can check if same thing happens even after resetting ur phone(do not backup)

it's not normal. my 950xl doesn't have those phenomena. live tiles are live. switching off then switching on doesn't change battery level much.

Wonder if it's the QI charger I'm using. Never wake up to 100%. Maybe I'm getting a false reading.

Live tiles for news, sport and Cortana just freeze after a period of time. Rubbish (UK user).

Mine does the exact same thing! Sometimes when it's low on battery it locks up on a black screen and won't let me unlock so I have to soft restart and it's guaranteed to have 20% less battery. Did you solve this problem?

I also use a qi charger and I also get a full days battery life still. I haven't noticed the live tiles freeze up though.
