Hopefully the EU will force them to make it uninstallable. If everything else in Windows can be uninstalled, there's no reason why this shouldn't be able to as well.

Microsoft has now confirmed that the ability to remove Recall this is just a bug, meaning the feature will not actually be removable when it launches.

Turns out you won't be able to uninstall Windows 11's Recall feature after all : Read more
You are entirely misquoting the article from The Verge and contribute to the spreading of that false information.

The Recall feature in question here IS NOT INSTALLABLE NOR PRESENT in the build in question, while the feature is listed as being removable ALBEIT NOT BEING INSTALLED OR INSTALLABLE in the build.

The bug ain't the ability to remove the feature, the bug is the fact the feature is listed at all when it's not installable on that build.

Source : read The Verge article you conveniently cut out a quote from.

Seriously, that whole story is a testimony to the complete lack of journalism integrity to not simply reading the original article in-depth before reporting false information just for clickbait. Pityful
