Twitter app live tile

How does the live tile for twitter work? I've yet to see the tile update or anything happen. Have tried resizing it. Also how does the lock screen work? I see random tweets on there from people in not following.

I have it set to wide it shows me retweets/favs/replies

Doesn't work in the wide mode at all. Any settings you've tweaked? I'm a twitterholic and this would be really helpful and I don't even get my mentions/ retweets notifications.

I'm wondering the same thing. I've always put my tile on the small setting, because it has never shown anything on the wide tile, but I've been using it a lot lately for weather updates in my school district (I'm a teacher), and I hate having to dig through the app for info.

While in the Twitter app, go to settings: Under "general" tap on your account and set it so you get notifications according to what you want.

And...while in "Notifications" you can also tap on "tweets" and set that up too.
