Two Apps share Music, option to disable Sound on certain apps?

I've found a minor issue when you have two apps that require sound.

For example I have Spotify open on one screen and Chrome streaming TV show displaying CC (closed caption) however I want both playing with sound disabled on the chrome app to listen to Spotify.

Obviously this isnt an surface duo issue but an android OS. Sound at the moment comes from the app which has focus
