It would be even more cool to be able to use it in NFC mode to pay for stuff or authorise at different machines but your screen glance experience is fine, too ;-)
Take a look at the way this guy used his band in Starbucks.Yes, that would be cool, except Band does not have NFC built in. And with the way we have to wear it (on the inside of the wrist), we would have many people injuring their wrists trying to get band close to the NFC reader :grincry:
Paid twice today at Starbucks here in Germany with my Band. Scanning the QR took less than a second.
Although they did not see anything like that before. Cool ;-) And there was no need to show them my Starbucks card.
Hopefully know one will know my card number as there is no double or online check...
Anybody telling me his/her Starbucks card number, eh? .-)
Howd u get ahold of Microsoft band
Exactly. I was wondering if anybody would mention this. It is great to not jump back and forth to the authenticator and to the app that requires two-factor authentication. Very convenient.I just logged in on a service and it sent me a text to confirm it was me. It was kind of cool to be able to just look on my wrist and read the code. Very futuristic.
