type cover not working properly

hey everyone,

since i cleaned my type cover earlier (just the way i always did with a dust rag and display cleaner) it is not working properly anymore. whenever i type a t or space it puts the other letter there aswell. same with y and x. the rest is working as usual which i find very weird.

any tips or suggestions how to fix this?
