Most likely, as with many Japanese products, Japan only. We were merely lucky to hear about this one, since it was the first known phone to ship with mango already loaded. It's also using Qualcomm's 8655 chipset, so it supports CDMA and GSM!

I played with this phone at the Inner Circle event in Phoenix. It's amazingggg. My wife literally was begging to move to Japan just for this phone. lol

The IS12T costs a whopping $459 even with a two-year contract!

With the transfer rate as bad as it is from US dollar to yen, that's close to true.

The cost of cell phones in Japan are not subsidized like in the US, so you are not locked into the phone contract as you are locked into paying off the phone.

The IS12T is about 76,000 and you have a multitude of options to choose from to pay for that. You can pay all and have not extra payment, put down a down payment, or pay the phone off over 2 years. Paying it off over 2 years is FREE at the time of purchase, but you'll bill will be much higher. It really sucks.

Sadly that phone has been out since late last year and it still is better then anything anyone else has come out with for WP7.
