unable to download via push notification/message

i know my setting is fine, i ticked my setting to receive push messages but whenever i try to download some apps from the store via desktop/internet, my laptop is unable to connect with my phone
and instead i only receive the link through email

what could possibly be the problem?

I have the same issue on my L520. Would love a solution, because it is so much easier browsing for apps from a larger screen.

Mine started working again. Not sure what happened, could have been an update.
