Unable to sync applications in Windows 8.1 - Lumia 520

[WPCentral Question]

Ever since I updated my Lumia 520 to Windows 8.1, my applications (Gmail, FB, Microsoft exchange) are not getting synced up. I am unable to login to the FB app as well.
