Since my phone automatically uploads to SkyDrive, I often upload to websites directly from the SkyDrive Camera Roll folder. I have one computer that is a laptop, but it's pretty much permanently on my desktop, with a terrabyte hard drive, and it has all SkyDrive folders syncing. With that computer, I have no problems.
I have another computer, a Lenovo Yoga 11S, and since it only has a 128 GB hard drive, I only have a couple folders synced to it, and Camera Roll is not one of them. When uploading to a website from that PC, when I select the image, first I get a popup that says something like administrative permission is required. I click to grant the needed permission, and then it tells me that the file name is not valid, and I'm not able to upload the file. In order to get it to work, I have to download the image and upload from that local image.
Does anyone know a way around this? It sure would be nice if Microsoft's browser would work and play nicely with Microsoft's file system manager and Microsoft's cloud service.......
