Universal Twitter app can't reply

So, before the latest Twitter update the app never did this, now when I try to reply to a tweet unless I'm responding from the main timeline the reply doesn't send. Anyone else dealing with this?

if this is on pc, you can either check for updates again or reset the app in settings > system > apps > select app > advanced options - reset app
