Unlimited data users being throttled by Verizon?

Is anyone else on Verizon and noticing a constant drop from 4g to 3g? Are you unlimited? All my siblings that are unlimited are having their phones constantly drop to 3g.

This has happened in different cities. So major os are being used here. IOS android and Windows

They've been doing that for quite a while now. Only difference is they used to only do it to the users who were using a ridiculous amount of data.

How is this even fair that they can do this? I had to endure 3g for 17 hrs on the road. Try streaming music consistently with 3g.

It depends on where you live and the stress being put on the tower your phone is communicating with. I habitually use between 20-25 gigabytes of data on my lumia icon on a monthly basis. I've never seen a drop in speeds. Signal penetration, however, can be a factor that plays into whether or not your phone(s) can sustain a 4g connection.
