Unlinking IE11 on PC from older backups of WP

WP8.1 allows IE to sync favorite and open tabs from desktop/tablet to the phone. Which is awesome ! The thing is I hard reseted my phone 2 times these recent weeks and now I have 3 different phone profiles in IE11 that I don't know how to remove.

I already removed older phone backups from OneDrive, but the profiles in IE's tab page still persist there. Any ideas?

I remember fixing this awhile back. I believe I simply cleared the history on the desktop computer and the synced tabs from the older devices all went away. Maybe not the most ideal solution.

Clear your desktop history and voila!
