Got it all installed earlier tonight. I now have a Super Phone. This is the promise of Windows Phone I was waiting for! Buttery smooth and lightning fast. Can't wait to load it on my 1020. Love it.

Rock on mate, R.. O.. C.. K.. O.. N.. :P And imagine if cyan can do this... What will wp 9 be like :/

I just ordered an unlocked one as well from the States. Will it update when it arrives in Canada? I can't wait to use this phone!

I have the 1520.3 from Omegacell and upgraded here in Mexico on vacation.

My experience differs. Leggy return to homescreen and delay in sound when turning phone off as well as other performance issues.
Actually disappointed in the performance.

Anyone here on Rogers wireless in Canada? Is your mms working? I haven't been able to get mine working, even with editing mms apn values..

I'm running 8.1 DP Rogers 1020, still no update...does anyone know if reverting back to 8 updates to Cyan?

Don't bother, no 1020 has received cyan yet so you'll be stuck with 8.0 till who knows when.

I'm interested in this as well. I've tried editing the mms values to get mms working with Fido and haven't had any luck.

No problems with anything at all here. Put it through its paces and running like a dream machine.

Unlocked 1520 RM-937 on Rogers. No Cyan yet for me. But then again, I'm on dev preview and I refuse to start fresh.

Hi. Is yours an AT&T 1520? I bought one and am in Canada, but am having trouble getting it unlocked. Who did you use to unlock it?

I was hesitant to do the rollback, but it was easy peasy lemon squeezy. Loading the new Software on my RM-938 took longer than I hoped, but a better WiFi connection cured the wait.

I bought my 1520 unlocked from Omegacell. I a
gonna be using these guys from now on for my Cellphone fix.

I own a 1020 and refuse to go Apple EVER, but I have had the Blackberry Experience at Work for years up until March and a Z30. Sold the Z30 and tried several Android Phones.

Finally settled on a Sony Xperia Z2 and was learning to enjoy Android. Then I dropped the Z2 from 2 Feet.

Well, after $700 for a phone and $300 for the repair, I found Omegacell and now, I am double barrell Windows.

1020 is now my Work Phone, 1520 is my Personal until I get the awesome Leather Wallet I ordered from Amazon, then all that Screen Real Estate will be put to use opening and editing Office Documents and Exchange Emails.

The Otterboxed 1020 will go back to being my prized personal phone/awesome Camera and hopefully I get the news from Rogers that Cyan for My Device is ready to install.

A couple of long years and detours that almost made me give up on Windows Phone, but this 1520 has made me a lifer. For now. Lol.
