Unlocked Lumia 920 on TMobile

Nothing specific. Just confirmed with CS on phone that I can get them unlocked if I bought them outright at full price without contract, even though I was not AT&T customer and had no plans of becoming one. They said yes. I bought the phone. Cancelled activation and plan upon store pick up (Have to choose one to buy online). Came home and called international dept to get unlock code. They gave me the temporary phone number that was assigned to my phone during order processing and instructed me to use it to open unlock request online as a former customer (I guess since I was a customer for few hours in their system). I obliged and got the unlock code in 2 days, no questions or issues.

Thanks, Don't know if this will work for me as I rolled the dice on a $240 - supposedly brand new with a clean IMEI - red 920 from Ebay. Sometimes being a cheap b*st*rd isn't the best course.

In any event it should still work on Straight Talk.

Did you ever find a 920 with lte working? (Pentaband) I've seen some online but the descriptions are vague and I can't find a site that sells them and is trustworthy to use on tmobile to its full potential.

I have a pentaband Rogers 920 which I am using on T-Mobile US and I get LTE and HSPA+, I also had a ATT 920 on T-Mobile on which I did get LTE

I too am looking into getting a 920 for T-Mobile. I have a chance to get one this weekend for $95 because it's stuck on the gears and the guy doesn't know what to do. Once I buy it and pull a hard reset, I am going to get it unlocked and use it. If not, I will look for a Pentaband version

I'm about to upgrade ot a 1520 on ATT and unlock my 920, would that work for you? PM me if you want to try and work out a deal, its cyan with wireless charger, complete boxset, etc. I just submitted my request for the unlock code from ATT 15 minutes ago.

I recently unlocked my At&t Lumia 920 and I get LTE on tmobile here in Seattle. The LTE and hspa+ network here is faster on T-Mobile than at&t. You should be able to get it pretty cheap. Check out overstock
