Update issue

Previously, I had a lumia phone and I had made it as parent account. I want to remove the child account linked to it. Let me know how it can be done? ASAP

Login to the Microsoft family safety website and it can be done from there

Hi thomas, I have removed it already. It says same now. No account shows up in the family website

no. it is not showing up. But I do remember I have accepted the terms & conditions in xbox. Is there a chance to remove from xbox? I'd it removed from windowsphone.com/family

If it has been removed what are the problems you are having.

The main problem is the account is linked with xbox account only. Hence it is not possible to update any app or download any app

Have you logged into family safety with the child account just to check all looks good there. Also check that the phone is listed on the child account on windowsphone website.

problem solved, by changing the email address of device. Though it looks bad but that's best way to think of in it.

If you try to download an app onto the phone from a pc on the website what does it say on there? Does it come up with any information? If not must be a problem on phone rather than backend. If that is the case turn phone off and on then sync the Microsoft account in settings and try again.

Also check no restrictions are setup on WindowsPhone website.
