Can I update the office app on my lumia 920 via store or do I have to wait for a OS update?

You have to wait for OS update from microsoft since it is preinstalled app , same goes for one note

Yes , these apps aren't avaliable in store , they are bundled with os

IMO it needs some major update cause as far as I have tried, I can't add images to a WORD file...

True , they need to improve it , but as of now you can add images in PowerPoint :smile:
