Upgrade to Windows 10?

uprade to windows 10

I am trying to upgrade to windows 10 and get the following error

Multiprocessor_Configuration_NotSupported

Having tried a few times the other error I get is C1900101-20017 can any body point me in the right direction

This post on the microsoft website seems to address the error code C1900101-20017 and mentions about doing a custom install.
