Upgrading from Trophy to 928

I plan to hit (a different) local store tonight to see if they can help. I was reading and business accounts may have different SIM rules as well. I started to go online yesterday through the activation but didn't have time and had some questions (partly because I'm on a family plan) and let it go. As far as I know, the SIM card should be toast now since it wasn't on a line at midnight (one difference with business lines).

Will update...ordering an Incipio Feather case in the meantime.

All you really need to do is have your service moved to a microSIM card and you pop that SIM card into your 928.... BAM... done.

They don't need to know what that phone really is, imo. Tell them you bought it off EBay.. it doesn't matter. With 4G, you just need a SIM, the device shouldn't matter.

I do that all the time with my corporate test lines. Actually I am getting a 928 delivered today on one line but I'm not even going to activate that SIM, I'm just gonna pull the SIM from my daily driver and put it in the 928.

When my buddy went from his Pre to a RAZR Maxx he bought off EBay he just went to a store and had them put his 3G service on a 4G SIM and put it in his Maxx.

Also bought some (discounted) screen protectors. Had no trouble and the young lady was rather cute
