Upgrading from Windows 81. to Windows 10 (about licence)?

I'm upgrading from windows 8.1 to 10 Technical Preview Build 10041, will it inherit the genuine licence, and will it be free to upgrade to the RTM version when the final release comes?

I would suggest read MS statements, but IMO this is Tech Preview only, you should wait for RTM or Customer Preview.
