USB connection problem

Hello. When i try to connect my lumia 920 to my PC via USB cable i can't because of this... . It was fine few days ago. Any solution for this? Thanks in advance. Have a nice day,

same issue with my L620 i did a soft reset and it worked hope it works for you too

I tried with soft reset and its still the same...same problem. Any other solution?

I installed wp 8.1, made a hard reset and I still can't connect to PC via USB. I hear the sound as it is connected and the sign for usb is there. But i still can't connect, i can't install drivers...anyone knows how can I fix this? Thx in advance.

I'm in the same boat. I need to copy my pics and videos off and the phone is not seeing a data connection at all.

And to top it off, the photos app isn't letting me select all the pics to upload to OneDrive.

Is this a 8.1 DP issue?

UPDATE:

After soft resetting my phone for the SECOND time, it started behaving again. Device Manager and the Windows Phone Desktop App communicated with it as advertised. *wipes forehead*

anyone facing this problem try this-
Disconnect ur device from pc
Open Control Panel>Then click View devices and printers option
U shud see your phone there
Right click on it and click remove device
now connect ur phone to the pc

One more tip: As simple as it may sound, try the bundled USB cable before doing anything drastic like a hard reset. Not all USB cables work as advertised.

anyone facing this problem try this-
Disconnect ur device from pc
Open Control Panel>Then click View devices and printers option
U shud see your phone there
Right click on it and click remove device
now connect ur phone to the pc

in addition, if you get the option to remove the drivers from the PC after doing this - chose that option. This will ensure you get the latest drivers and replace any conflicting drivers when you reconnect the phone. Emphasis is on "if" you get that option, it does not always show up.
