USB issue with Lumia 1520

Recently, I've noticed that when I connect a USB cable to my Lumia 1520 to charge it, there is an extensive delay. It doesn't matter that the cable is connected to, a computer, power outlet via adapter, car charger, etc. Last night, I plugged in my cable connected to a power strip via the Nokia adapter and it took almost 3 minutes before it made the chime sound and the battery icon changed to show that it was charging. As the delay seems to be getting gradually worse, I just wanted to throw this out there to see if anyone else has experienced it and what, if anything, they did to fix it.

Yep, happening to mine to at the moment. I am assuming it is to do with having 8.1 but no Cyan. A reboot improves it until it gradually gets worse again.

Sometimes there a delay sometimes there's not with my 1520. I think it may depend at least with me whether I'm using the charger that came with the 1520 or a non nokia charger or cable.

Just unplug it and then plug it back in again.. It happens from time to time.

I had the same problem yesterday. Just turn it off, then turn it back on.

Rebooting seems to help a bit. I tried unplugging it and plugging it back in and that didn't help.

Maybe it's the outlet. My problem was fixed with turning it on and then off. Or buy another Nokia charger.
