will windows phone 8.1 support USB OTG?? can I install apps in USB??

Can't say about otg , but you will be able to install apps on SD card via storage sense.

I don't think you'd be able to install apps to a USB device since it's only phone memory or SD.. but all the rumors / leaks have said that it has OTG.. will have to see once the current builds get out into the wild and people start testing.

Today I just saw IRL that USB OTG can work withouth your phone having a MicroUSB-AB port. It can work if you only have the B port, which is great. I think it will work, if it doesn't you know what to do. Make a uservoice request and put it on the forums for everyone to vote. As you can see they've just done almost every top suggestion there was!

There are a few hints in the sdk in terms of HIDs. There is a keyboard + mouse api in windows phone. It may be just to make the windows & windows phone api being closer together but they are there. http://puu.sh/7UV4n.png

Installing to USB? Possible, but I highly doubt it. It would make sense in a case, but otherwise having an OTG cable and flash drive dangling off your phone would be very awkward.
