USB speaker driver problem

I've been having intermittent problems with my kids PC on Win10 Pro. I have a pair of USB speakers that sometimes fail to work. If I run the device troubleshooter, it tells me that the device had a driver problem and it needs to be re-installed. Once it's done, it tells me I need to reboot. While the process works, about 2-3 days later I have to repeat the process because the driver has failed again.

Has anyone seen this behavior or know of a fix I might try? I'm just about to give up and put a pair of regular wired speakers on it.

I'm using Logitech S-150 USB speakers. They aren't supposed to require any additional software.
From Logitech's site:
Audio USB products use drivers that are native to modern Windows operating systems, enabling basic functionality without additional software.

When did Logitech write that? You'll still probably have to contact Logitech.
