Used transfer my data, transferred 25 contacts - where are they?

there are no contacts in my list, it says "showing all", what now? I do not use email on my phone, so when I used the data transfer app. only phone numbers were on my old phone to transfer and that's all I wanted transferred on my new lumia 550. Help!!

did the transfer complete okay? Can you initiate the transfer again and see what happens?
In people app, can you check the settings to see if show contacts from account is on or off?
