Using Cortana for Camping/RVing

This is a pretty niche topic but I realized in my post in another forum that Cortana was a big help to me on my camping trip out west last summer. Here's how I used it:

• Added the campgrounds as favorite places ahead of time to make navigation easier - some of them were well off the beaten path.
• Added location based reminders to unplug my travel trailer from the tow vehicle to prevent running down my vehicle battery
• Added location based reminders to check my propane level
• Navigation
• Weather
• Finding places to eat or camp while on the road (find campgrounds near xyz)

Cortana is great for trips of all kinds. Here's a trick I learned. Download Here Maps for Desktop. Mark locations and add them to your collections and they will move right over to your phone. Easy peasy.
