Using my 920 again - had 'moved' to LG G3

Whatever else I use I always have that hankering for WP. I have an LG G3 as my daily driver, but decided to dust off my old Lumia 920 and use that on a daily basis. I love it! As soon as a flagship WP comes out I think I'll just have to buy it. I have been looking at the HTC One M8 for Windows, but it appears not to be available in the UK. The 830 would be a sidegrade (apart from the better camera) and in some respects a downgrade.

I am surprised at how good the 920 is given its age. I've used the iPhone 6 with a similar 720p screen, but I find the 920 display much more readable, and I hate iOS.

The only niggle is that the time is displayed in blue at the top right of the screen when I'm using UC or Surfy browser. If I rotate the 920 to landscape it slides off the screen gracefully and is no longer displayed. Any way of getting rid of this?

Good to hear you have started using the 920 again as your daily driver, my 920 is still going strong however the battery is starting to show it's age.

Sadly the HTC W8 is not available any where else apart from the US alone... the 830 is a decent phone and a side grade. Personally I don't think I will ever be able to get used to the one-touch button operation ever again, it is far too simple for my liking lol.

In regards to your last point, don't think it is possible as it looks like a design choice by the developer, as when using Opera no time is displayed if its used in landscape or portrait.
