Recently I've realized that utorrent eats the battery drastically when torrents are downloaded. Is this natural, or this is caused by optimization problem?

Never noticed it while using it on my SP4...

Have you tried the Windows 10 app Torrex Lite/Torrex Pro?

UTorrent is now loaded with a lot of ads. That's probably what's draining.

You can use a custom hosts file to try and block them from loading.
