Hi all,
I'm a new UWP developer. I just started this past summer and Pillbox is my second app. The app was designed originally for my mom to use. She had over 10 medicines she took everyday and over time, she kept forgetting to take her pills at the correct time. So I made her Pillbox.
The app has a few distinct features. First, since my mom's hearing was quite poor, she needed something more than just a short toast notification (similar to a text message). Thus, Pillbox was designed to set off an alarm that will keep getting louder and louder until the user dismisses it (just like a wake-up alarm). Second, my mom is the least technology-inclined person I know. Thus, the UX of the app is simple and intuitive. It does one thing, but it does it really damn well (in my opinion).
Extra cool features include:
- automatic sync across all windows 10 devices
- OneDrive backup and restore
- ability to record Dosage information (e.g. number of pills to take)
- ability to turn off the reminders for a medicine (useful if a medicine is not time-sensitive)
- Intuitive list of medicines to take for the current day
Check out Pillbox and let me know what you think! https://forums.windowscentral.com/e...e%2Fp%2Fpillbox%2F9nblggh4x7vb&token=m1Xj85im
Cheers,
