Valentine's Day Gift for Wife

Hello fellow Windows users! I need some suggestions for a laptop to gift my wife for the commercialized day of Valentine's Day. She has had a MacBook Pro (Retina, 15-inch, Mid 2012), then a Surface Pro 3, and now some budget Asus Laptop (she hates it). We only downgraded because she no longer needed a laptop for her job, and thought a machine for just browsing would suffice. However, she was used to the speed of her SP3 and loved the touchscreen.

Here are her requirements:

• Good build quality
• Touchscreen
• Windows 10 (obviously)
• 15 inch+ screen size
• Good battery life (enough to get through a workday)
• Core i5 or higher
• Traditional or Convertible form factors
• Preferably less than $900

Why touch? Is inking important?

Photo/Video editing?

If we had a bit more use scenario to go on that would help.

For some reason I'm already thinking a GPU with dedicated RAM might be called for as well as built in pen support... Tell me if I'm wrong.
