Vanishing keyboard

Is the disappearing keyboard issue happening with older phones updated to Mango only, or are new devices such as the Focus S and the Titan also exhibiting this behavior?

Yeah, seems to be happening a good bit more nowadays. Also, sometimes it will disappear when I'm entering text on a webpage and it won't come back until I refresh the page.

I just thought about it this morning. I don't have a texting plan on my Focus, so I never thought I'd have to deal with it, but this morning I was trying to do something on Twitter and couldn't get my keyboard to stay up. I can't imagine how frustrated you all are. I definitely hope that gets fixed soon.

Also, I asked my sister about this and she said she's never noticed it on her mango-upgraded Trophy. Could it be device-specific? Or is it just a random bug?

I definitely have the issue on my Radar 4G, though I haven't noticed it much lately. Maybe it's turning into a subconscious reaction to bring it back up when it goes away? :straight:

Mine has disappeared but not sure it has done it without command. If you touch an area outside the keyboard it will vanish. I am just not sure if I have accidentally made it go away. The screen seems too sensitive at times. Shifting my grip from left to right or something will allow me to brush the search and bing will come up.
