Just got my Verizon HTC 8X. When does an MS update come out?

My 920 is on AT&T and received the portico update and it still has issues. I'm pretty sure this is an OS issue that's not fixed in the latest updates, although I am sure it's BETTER with the portico update.

I have the new Samsung Galaxy4. I am trying to connect the phone with my car's Bluetooth. I have a 2011 Rav 4. The Galaxy 4 cannot find my car's Bluetooth. I had iphones before this and they connected with no problems.
Any ideas?
