Verizon phone on straight talk-internet sharing not working

I have an unlocked verizon HTC 8X with an att straight talk sim card, I could care less about the mms picture messaging but I can not get my internet share to work and that is why I bought the phone, to tether to my surface rt. Can anyone please help me? I had changed the apn and it was working but then did an update and now nothing. I am able to have internet without wi fi, so I am not sure what the problem is? I really love my windows phone but need the internet sharing capability.

Straight Talk doesn't have tethering.

Don't know if this useful or not, but did you check out the hotspot devices and plans Straight Talk has?
