Verizon Visual Voicemail

I have a friend with the HTC One M8 Windows on Verizon.

He says that the voicemail is painful as the phone does not even tell you when a voicemail occurs if it is off (e.g. out of a service area).

How can he enable Visual Voicemail on it?

You have to download it and pay for it I believe - like $2 a month

Thanks. I finally found a link. Uses a crappy app instead of the integrated phone services and yes, you have to pay extra on top of the highest industry rates. Welcome to Verizon.
